Traditional Fijian Healing
Nature’s Medicine follows Meli Tokalau a revered practitioner of traditional Fijian medicine. A documentary team of 5 students from the University of the South Pacific stayed in Nukulau village in the province of Ra in order to venture into the highlands in search of traditional medicine. This film also offers a unique slice of Fijian village life and the way in which Meli’s practices are integral to his clan.
