With the 2018 General Election set for November 14, five more Australian observers have been accredited to be part of the Multi-National Observer Group (MOG).
In a statement today, the Fijian Elections Office said the Australian MOG team was led by Alice Cawte and included Genevieve Richards, Andrew Elborn, Priya Sivakumaran and Toby Sharpe.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said he looked forward to more observers arriving in the country after the Writ of Election was issued yesterday by President Jioji Konrote.
FEO says the co-leads of the MOG were Australia, India and Indonesia. The 2018 General Election will be held on November 14 from 7.30am to 6pm.
